Town of Havana was notified by WastePro staff that the weekly pickup will be delayed until weather permits. The trucks cannot safely operate on our icy roadways. Additional information will be provided as it is received from WastePro.

Town Hall closing Tuesday 1/21/25 at 4PM

Due to weather, Havana Town Hall (711 N. Main St) will be closing at 4pm on Tuesday 1/21. Town Hall will not close for lunch in an effort to give residents as much time as possible to conduct business before the early closure. There may be additional closures depending on the severity of the anticipated weather. If you haven't already enrolled in Havana's alert system, please go to our website at https://townofhavana.com/subscribe to sign up via text, email, or both. This is the best way to get the most up to date information on closures and issues.

Town Hall will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. If you need to report a utility issue after hours or on a holiday, please contact Havana Police Department at 850-539-2801 so that an on-call utility technician can be notified.

Did you know? The Town of Havana now offers paperless billing. The enrollment is located on our website at: https://townofhavana.com/utilities and a paper enrollement form will also be sent out with your next utility bill. Please email clerk@townofhavana.com with any questions.
HIRING: Gas/Electric Utility Technician

HIRING: The Town of Havana has an anticipated vacancy for a Gas/Electric Utility Technician. This position will be responsible for the oversight and daily operation of the Town's gas utility, and will provide significant support to the electric utility. Ideal candidates will have experience with a municipal gas utility, and be willing to attend OTJ groundsman/lineman training.

Town of Havana Sealed-Bid Equipment Auction

The Town of Havana is holding a sealed-bid auction for surplus vehicles & equipment. All bids must be submitted to Town staff no later than 11/7/2024 at 11:45 AM. Bids will be opened same day in Council Chambers at 12:00 PM (noon). This auction is open to the public and all bids are welcome. Please note that some items do have a minimum bid. The Town of Havana will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested
in providing construction services for the following project:
3rd Street SCOP
The project shall include the resurfacing of 3rd Street from Jefferson Avenue to 10th Avenue. Improvements to striping and signage will also be included as part of the project.

Council Meeting - Nov/Dec 2024 Date Changes

The regular council meeting for Havana Town Council for the months of November and December 2024 has been changed to accomodate the holidays. The meetings will still be held at 6:00 PM in Town Council chambers in Town Hall Chambers, 711 N. Main Street Havana FL. All meetings are open to the public.
