Havana Main Street

The Town of Havana is proud to partner with Havana Main Street, a local non-profit organization,  to ensure the lasting vibrancy of our historic downtown.  

Havana Main Street has existed for over 100 years. However, it was only in 2017 that the community gained Main Street designation from the Florida Main Street Program. We intend to use this momentum to help revitalize our downtown, enriching quality of life, business, and tourism while preserving the historic foundation we inherited. We want our downtown visitors to experience fun and excitement and to tell their friends they must go see Havana. 

​As a Main Street America AffiliateTM, Havana Main Street is part of a national network of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and communities who share both a commitment to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development. 

Havana Main Street works with dozens of volunteers to host numerous events throughout the year in our downtown area, highlighting the beauty of our historic buildings and the friendliness of our merchants and residents.
