Mayor & Council
The Town of Havana Mayor and Council work together for the citizens of our community. As leaders, they are committed to protecting the Town of Havana assets through the encouragement of residents and businesses to become integral participants in our community.
The Town of Havana operates under the Council-Manager form of government. The Town Council is elected by the voters and in turn, the Council appoints a professionally trained individual as its Town Manager. It is the responsibility of the Town Manager to handle day to day operation of Town business. The Town Council makes policy decisions, and votes on all legislative or quasi-judicial matters required or enabled by state or federal law.
