Burn Ban

Reminder to all residents the Burn Ban remains in affect until 6/14/2026: 

All outdoor burning is prohibited during the ban, including yard debris burning, campfires and bonfires. Agricultural burns are also prohibited without proper authorization.

County officials said the temporary ban is intended to protect lives, property and natural resources by reducing the risk of uncontrolled fires during dry conditions.

Residents are urged to avoid activities that could create sparks or open flames, properly dispose of cigarettes and flammable materials, and report any signs of fire by calling 911.
